Saving newspapers one martini at a time

Today PR professionals around the city were a buzz about this letter from the Kansas City Star publisher. The placement, timing and messaging said so much about the state of newspapers in today’s economy. So on the eve following publication, would you expect anything less from Justin and Stephanie than a thorough discussion of this message and the role of the daily print publication in society?

Of course you wouldn’t!

Two martinis later, Justin and I single handedly saved the entire industry. Of course, if we told you our secret, we’d have to kill you.

In the meantime, I’m going to keep believing in this business. I’ve decided it’s kind of like believing in Santa. And you can’t tell me there isn’t a market for that!
